Most of the time, when Alto takes a nap or relaxes himself, he simply looks like a turkey.
Try to imagine a cat with his limbs all gathered beneath his stomach and his forefeet rolled inwards as if he was embracing himself. At first sight, we may think he looks uncomfortable; but that is the position you would find him in most of the time.
From time to time, however, Alto also needs to stretch himself and do some exercise!
From my observation, there are two steps in it: at first, he stretches his forefeet as if someone was pushing the rest of his body to the back. Then, he stretches his hind feet by doing the same thing in the opposite direction.
Every time Alto does this stretching exercise, he is almost shaking: he seems like he wants to feel every single muscle stretch...
Another way to stretch his body is to lay down along a wall, I mean literally! All his body, from foretoe to hind toe, is straight along the wall. But the funniest thing is that Alto can sleep still in this position for hours! You may not believe me, but believe me, it's true! I personally have never seen a cat like this before...
Finally, there is a last position in which Alto can sleep and enjoys sleeping that way.
I think this picture better describes it than my words...
